NetVault®: Backup SnapVault Manager Plugin Module provides the capability to manage and monitor Network Appliance's SnapVault. Working in conjunction with NetApp snapshot technology, it enhances enterprise data protection by frequently backing up changed data from multiple storage platforms to a common Snapshot on a NetApp NearStore device, enabling faster tapeless restores.

SnapVault Manager is an optional item that is only available with NetVault®: Backup v7 and subsequent versions.
