Sometimes you just need a little more disk space in your RAID array, workstation, or server.

Whether you need original disk drives from your system manufacturer (HP, IBM, or SUN) or disk drives with a 5-year warranty from Seagate, Abtech has the solution for you.

In addition, we can breath new life into your older disk arrays. For example, the HP A3312A Jamaica HASS enclosure is limited to 18Gb drives from the manufacturer, but with Abtech you can use 36Gb, 73Gb, and 146Gb drives. Ask about other disk arrays we can help you keep in your environment.

Tape Drives and DLTs

Internal DDS tape drives, despite being the most common backup device, are notorious for their failing. It is reassuring to know that Abtech carries a ready supply of replacement drives so you will not experience a gap in your nightly backups.

To help you keep your downtime and recovery minimal, Abtech suggests replacing your DDS drives with DLT. Since there is no contact of the tape head to the tape in DLT you will get minimal wear on the media. It is a faster and much more reliable backup device if all you need is a single tape drive.
