In addition, these features allow customers to leverage up to 80 percent of their initial server investment when they upgrade their HP 9000 server to an HP Integrity server platform.

The HP Virtual Server Environment (VSE) is designed to allow enterprises to achieve a greater return on their IT investments by optimizing server resource utilization on a real-time basis according to business priorities.

HP-UX 11i v2 also provides strong investment protection with built-in application and data compatibility between HP 9000 and HP Integrity servers for an easy transition path to HP Integrity servers. The HP 9000 series may also be listed as HP-9000 or HP9000.
