The PAC Storage 4800 is the ideal solution for archival storage and its associated applications, and sets the design standard for mass storage enclosures available today. Housing 48 Serial ATA (SATA) drives in only 4U of rack space, this high-density solution can store up to 24TB of data, making it the industry leader in density.

Designed around proven Fibre Channel (FC) technology, the 4800 provides ease of deployment and integration into the customer's existing fabric environment, and is ideally suited to meet the ever-expanding requirements of compliance, backup and Content Addressable Storage (CAS).

The PAC Storage innovative enclosure design and internal architecture include redundant hotswappable components. N+1 power and dual pathing at the drive level support High Availability (HA) configurations.

A front-mounted LCD display provides real-time statistics and reporting on all aspects of the enclosure. In addition, 48 individual LED lights monitor drive status and health, providing clear fault diagnostics and ease of serviceability.
