In one package and for one price you get the unique award-winning zero client Pano Device and a unified management interface provided by Pano Manager that lets you easily deploy, monitor, and control your virtual desktops.
A Pano Device is a small (3.5 x 3.5 x 2 inch) physical device that replaces a traditional desktop computer. It connects to the corporate network with a standard monitor, sound speakers, keyboard and mouse.
In combination with VMware virtualization, the Panologic Zero Client solution offers users the same computing experience as a standard Windows Desktop PC with less complexity.
The Pano solution is easier to deploy, remove or re-assign as a desktop environment whether it’s for 5 or 500 users.
With no moving parts, the amount of time and effort spent on routine software and hardware maintenance is far less compared to a standard desktop PC. The Pano device’s power consumption is lower by up to 97%. This can lower an organizations power costs significantly.

Peripherals work only when the user is authorized via Windows policies enforced by the Pano Manager. This lets you enforces fine-grained access policies based on user group membership, USB device class, and operation.
A specific Pano Device may be authorized to read from a CD, but not write to it - allowing users to copy files or load software onto their virtual desktop, but preventing any confidential data from leaking out. Even when users are authorized, Pano Manager can record USB operations so that the business can keep track of all its information assets.
The Pano Device has no internal storage device or even any memory, so it can never hold any confidential or private data. This means security breaches and data losses due to lost or stolen endpoints (like laptops) are a thing of the past. All data is kept in the data center where it can best be secured, managed, and backed up.
Finally, because there is nothing in a Pano Device that can be infected by a virus or have malicious code installed, it doesn't need to be scanned for vulnerabilities or exploits. And while the virtualized Windows OS is still vulnerable to malware, the ability to easily drop an infected desktop virtual machine and provision a clean copy, even without IT intervention, makes recovering from malware infections simple and foolproof.
